The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially released the results of the August 2025 Licensure Examination for Criminologists (LEC). Out of the 25,410 examinees, a total of 13,074 successfully passed the board exam conducted by the Board of Criminology in 29 testing centers nationwide.
According to PRC, the results of the exam were released in just twenty-six (26) working days after the last day of testing.
Withheld Results
PRC clarified that the results of certain examinees were withheld due to the following reasons:
- 3 examinees – pending final determination of liabilities under licensure examination rules and regulations
- 2 examinees – pending submission of required documents
- 5 examinees – pending further verification of submitted documents
Board of Criminology
The examination was conducted by the following members of the Board of Criminology:
- Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman
- Hon. Lani T. Palmones, Member
- Hon. Warren M. Corpuz, Member
Registration of Passers
Starting October 28, 2025, registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online via the PRC official website: www.prc.gov.ph.
Successful examinees are advised to prepare the following requirements for registration:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloaded copy)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes)
- 2 passport-sized pictures (colored, white background, with complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 short brown envelope
Passers must register personally and sign in the official Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oathtaking Schedule
The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new criminologists will be announced later by the PRC.
