General Instructions for LEPT Examinees
If you are taking the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), it is very important to know and follow the guidelines set by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Below are the instructions you need to remember before and during the examination day:
1. School/Building Assignment
- Check or verify your school/building assignment at the official PRC website: www.prc.gov.ph.
- You may also find it in the Notices/Announcements posted at the PRC premises 2–3 working days before the examination.
2. Reporting Time
- Be early. You must be at your testing center no later than 5:30 A.M.
- Reminder: Late examinees will not be admitted.
3. Proper Attire on Examination Day
👔 Male Examinees
- White polo shirt with collar (tucked-in, without any logo, seal, or mark).
- Decent pants or slacks.
👩 Female Examinees
- White blouse/shirt with collar (tucked-in, without any logo, seal, or mark).
- Decent pants or slacks.
4. Items to Bring
✅ Notice of Admission (NOA)
✅ Official Receipt of payment of application
✅ 1 pc. Long Transparent White Plastic Envelope (for valuables and other allowed items)
✅ 1 pc. Long Brown Envelope
✅ Two (2) or more No. 2 Pencils
✅ Black ink ballpen (only black ink is allowed)
5. Strictly Prohibited Items
🚫 The following are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED inside the examination rooms/premises:
- Books, notes, review materials, or any materials containing coded data/formulas.
- LEPT Elementary Level: All kinds of calculators are strictly prohibited.
- LEPT Secondary Level: All kinds of calculators are prohibited, except for Mathematics majors (as per Commission Resolution No. 1809-2024).
- Note: Only one calculator is allowed, and it must be inspected and reset before the start of the exam.
- Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth devices, and other electronic gadgets.
- Bags of any kind (ladies’ bags, shoulder bags, backpacks, attaché cases, etc.).
- Other examination aids not specifically mentioned in the program.
👉 Please note: Bodily search, inspection of personal belongings, and confiscation of prohibited items will be strictly enforced as per PRC Memorandum Order No. 57, s. 2020.
6. Health Protocols
- All examinees and examination personnel are required to observe minimum health standards based on DOH Circular No. 0324 (s. 2023) throughout the conduct of the exam.
