Over 329,000 Candidates Participate in Nationwide Civil Service Exam
On Sunday, August 11, 2024, a total of 329,318 candidates participated in the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) across 16 regions and 95 testing centers nationwide. This turnout represented 91.82% of registered applicants for both Professional and Subprofessional levels.
Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairperson Karlo Nograles, who visited the testing site in Davao City, credited the successful conduct of the exam to the cooperation of examinees and the dedication of volunteer teachers and government employees. “This year's second and final CSE was conducted successfully, thanks to everyone involved," he stated.
The highest number of examinees came from the National Capital Region with 43,476 participants. Other regions with significant turnout included Regions IV and VI.
Various CSC officials also visited testing centers to oversee the exam process and commend the efforts of volunteers. Results of the exam are scheduled to be released by October 16, available on the CSC website.
