In a remarkable display of efficiency, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results of the May 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE) just five working days after the exam was held.
Out of 10,770 examinees, a total of 6,935 successfully passed the examination conducted by the Board of Nursing in 18 testing centers nationwide. This result marks a proud moment for thousands of aspiring Filipino nurses, many of whom are now on the cusp of beginning their professional journey in the healthcare field.
The result for one (1) examinee has been withheld, pending further investigation into potential liabilities under existing PRC rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

Registration for New RNs
Beginning June 13, 2025, successful examinees can register online for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. Visit the official PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph and follow the steps for initial registration.
Requirements for Registration:
- Duly accomplished Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal), downloadable from the PRC site
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two (2) passport-sized pictures (colored, white background, with full name tag)
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
- One (1) short brown envelope
Important: Successful examinees must register in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oathtaking Ceremony
The PRC will announce the date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony for new nurses at a later time. Newly licensed RNs are encouraged to monitor official PRC channels for updates.
