The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially announced the results of the February 2025 Licensure Examination for Criminologists, with 22,245 successful examinees out of 36,768 candidates — a national passing rate that highlights the dedication and perseverance of aspiring criminologists across the country. The exams were conducted in 29 testing centers nationwide.
The Board of Criminology, composed of Hon. Ramil G. Gabao (Chairman), Hon. Lani T. Palmones, and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz (Members), released the results in just twenty (20) working days after the final day of examinations.
While the majority celebrated their success, the PRC announced that the results of ten (10) examinees were withheld pending further review of their compliance with examination regulations, and two (2) others await submission of required documentation.
Next Steps for Successful Examinees
Starting March 31, 2025, registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online. To complete your registration, visit the PRC's official website at www.prc.gov.ph and follow the step-by-step guide for initial registration.
Requirements for registration:
- Completed and downloaded Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
- Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
- Two (2) passport-sized photos (colored, white background, with complete name tag)
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
- One (1) short brown envelope
Please note that personal appearance is required — successful examinees must register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oathtaking Ceremonies
